Description

The RapidIO Sensor Fusion Switch is a preconfigured
RapidIO switch core based on the Praesum
DQU switching IP architecture. It is intended as an
evaluation platform for developing sensor fusion
platforms based on RapidIO interconnect.


The switch supports the transfer of data between
sensor heads and the switch up using either memory
mapped or streaming data transfers. When using
streaming transfers the switch provides AXI Stream
interfaces that can be used to integrate hardware
processing of sensor data. The architecture includes
numerous features that provide deterministic data
delivery for high availability applications.


Praesum can deliver customized versions of this
switch with port interfaces tailored for specific
deployments. This includes the number and type of
RapidIO ports as well as AXI4 bridge ports which are
used for SoC integration.
