Our SwitchKit switching IP toolkits let you craft application-specific switches for RapidIO, Ethernet, and the Aurora Protocol.
RapidIO Interface IP:
Praesum was the first vendor offer Intellectual Property (IP) cores for the RapidIO protocol. All of Praesum's RapidIO IP solutions are partitioned to support a fine-grained IP architecture. This ensures that only the RapidIO functions needed for each application must be included. This saves valuable power and device resources in SOC ASIC or FPGA platforms.

SwitchKit Switching IP:
SwitchKit is a IP toolkit that can be used to rapidly develop application optimized switches. Although SwitchKit can be used to create standard switches, the key benefit is the ability to quickly develop application specific embedded switches including:
- Switches with mixes of RapidIO, Aurora, and Ethernet ports.
- Switches with endpoint addressable memory, popular in imaging applications.
- Switches with integrated processing functions such as TCP offload.
Other features include some of the best latency numbers in the industry, and excellent performance under heavy traffic loads.
